I remember the phone on our Willets hall ringing constantly in the early weeks of our first semester. Upperclass men were checking out the new women on campus. More often than not, calls were for Anne Seagrave, the most beautiful of our hallmates.

Anne was an angel.  She was beautific in her approach to Reese, her kids and her community.  I lived in Santa Fe for 18 years.  My two kids and Anne and Reese's kids were fast friends.  I can not imagine the hole she left in her family's lives.

When I recall Anne, it's her warm smile I remember- along with her natural grace.
