Harald Christian Pedersen 1950-2012

He was born on June 8, 1950 in Philadelphia, PA. He was the co-founder of Pedersen and Pedersen, Inc. He was a birth right member of The Religious Society of Friends and also a member of Vanati Institute. He was survived by his wife, Rebecca Ann Pedersen, whom he married August 29, 1972; children, Hans Pedersen, and Sarah Lynn Pedersen and granddaughter, Violet Ann Pedersen.

Harald Christian Pedersen, 62, of Saxonburg passed away on Sunday at his home surrounded by family. 
Born June 8, 1950, in Philadelphia, he was the son of Christian Harald Pedersen and Susan Hibbard Thatcher. 
He was the co-founder of Pedersen and Pedersen, Inc. He was a birthright member of the Religious Society of Friends and also a member of the Vanati Institute. 
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Rebecca Ann Pedersen, who he married Aug. 29, 1972; children, Hans Pedersen and his wife, Faye Tomimbang, of Saxonburg and Sarah Lynn Pedersen and her wife, Stephanie Stepp, of Pittsburgh; granddaughter, Violet Ann Pedersen of Pittsburgh; and siblings, Hannah Anderson of Pittsfield, Mass., Kai Pedersen of Reading, Pa., and Erik Pedersen of Spring City, Pa.
PEDERSON - There will be no visitation or services for Harald Christian Pedersen, who passed away Sunday, Sept. 16, 2012. A memorial service for family and friends will be arranged.

Fox Funeral Home, Saxonburg is assisting the family with arrangements.

Pete was a very good man. Left out of his obituary is the fact that he came in second in the crum Regatta paddling a boat framed of 2x3s with a plastic sheet stretched over it and stapled to the gunnels.

What I most remember most about Pete was his kindness.  He had a ready smile and a welcoming nature.  What a good person!!!
